Barbecuing for a good cause

Dear Editor:I wanted to take a brief moment to thank Michael Fox and the Aspen Club and Spa for their weekly community benefit. “Tuesdays with Michael” is an informal barbecue on the outdoor deck of the Aspen Club every Tuesday evening at 5:30 with music by Big Daddy Lee and the King Bees. Donations of $25 per person are then distributed to a different nonprofit in the valley.To date the Chris Klug foundation, Susan G. Komen, the Back Door and, this week, the Aspen Cancer Survivor Center were recipients of money raised by the event. The Cancer Survivor Center would like to extend a special thanks to Nikki, Wendy, Amanda, Sarah and Jake and the rest of the Aspen Club crew for donating their time – we are truly blessed to have such a great caring people here in Aspen.Riggs KlikaAspen Cancer Survivor CenterAspen
