Ban-ner moments

Dear Editor:

I would like to congratulate Aspen for banning plastic bags. One can only hope that they follow with a ban on any businesses that recycle plastic bags, which can be followed by a ban on any and all recycling businesses.

That should have a great impact on both the environment and individuals who decades ago showed both entrepreneurship and environmental concern in a free enterprise, capitalist system. My best guess at this point is that Aspen City Council was more concerned with themselves, due to the obvious asphyxiation hazard.
