Bag question will be on Snowmass ballot
SNOWMASS VILLAGE – The Snowmass Village Town Council passed a resolution Monday putting an advisory question regarding single-use bags before voters in November.
The yes-or-no question will ask residents if they think the council should enact an ordinance regarding the distribution and use of single-use, disposable plastic and paper bags.
The council also had a discussion about the town’s noise regulation. The council deemed the current code sufficient but expressed a desire to look at buying a decibel reader to help the Police Department educate the public about appropriate noise levels.
