Autopsy: Vail newcomer died of natural causes
Aspen, CO Colorado
VAIL, Colo. ” An autopsy shows a 48-year-old man whose body was found in his Vail apartment over the weekend died of natural causes.
Eagle County Coroner Kara Bettis says David Mallory died of upper gastric hemorrhaging, a common cause of death associated with alcoholism. She says Mallory had a history of alcoholism.
Mallory moved to Vail from New York two weeks ago and was living alone.
Police say his father called them and asked them to check on Mallory after not hearing from his son for more than a week.
Officers went to Mallory’s apartment on Sunday and found him dead.
