Attention paddlers: Tree down on Roaring Fork below Aspen

ASPEN – A tree has fallen across the Roaring Fork River, spanning the river’s entire width, below Aspen, according to an e-mail alert issued by Pitkin County Sunday morning.

The tree is at the top of the rapids dubbed Entrance Exam – part of the run over Slaughterhouse Falls.
