A local family could end up on national television on a show called “Wife Swap,” in which parents from two households swap places for 10 days to see how the other half lives.”The premise of ‘Wife Swap’ … is that one parent from each household swaps places for 10 days to experience how another family runs their lives,” show spokesman Michael Raptis said.He calls it “an incredible family experience and opportunity to both learn and teach different family values” and “a fascinating story of what happens when two married couples see themselves and their spouses in a whole new light.”Participating families can live anywhere in the United States, Raptis said, but the program asks that families that apply consist of two parents who have at least one child 5 years or older living at home, along with any additional children of any age.Anyone interested in applying to be on the show can call (212) 404-1471, or e-mail a family photo and description to michael.raptis@rdfusa.com.More information on the show is available at abc.go.com/primetime/wifeswap.The ABC television show is in its second year and airs at 8 p.m. EST on Mondays, just before Monday Night Football.
