Aspen’s Fourth of July Parade: And the winners are …

Aspen’s Old Fashioned Fourth of July Parade attracted a smorgasbord of floats and demonstrations, and the judges — Mayor Steve Skadron, City Councilwoman Ann Mullins and former Mayor Helen Klanderud — picked the following winners:

Most Patriotic — Boy Scout Troop 242

Most Outrageous — Ajax Adventure Camp

Most Historic — Baltimore Jim

Best Children’s — Silver City Gymnastics

Best Animal — Dancing Horses

Best Music — Aspen Music Festival

The parade grand marshals were Dale and Charlotte Paas.
