8 a.m. — Boogie’s Buddy Race, starts and finishes in front of Boogie’s Diner

10 a.m. — Kids’ bicycle decorating, Paepcke Park

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — 13th annual “America’s Birthday Carnival,” Paepcke Park

Noon — Old Fashioned Fourth of July Parade, Main Street

1 to 4 p.m. — Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club Fourth of July Picnic, Koch Park

1:30 p.m. — Free Fourth of July Community Picnic, Aspen Art Museum

4 p.m. — The Aspen Music Festival and School’s free Fourth of July Concert, Benedict Music Tent

4 to 9 p.m. — “Journey Stories,” Aspen Fire Station Museum, 420 E. Hopkins Ave.

5 to 8 p.m. — Free family fun, Mill Street/Cooper Avenue mall

6:30 p.m. — “Les Miserables,” Hurst Theatre in Rio Grande Park

8 to 10:30 p.m. — “Dancing in the Streets” with The Congress, Mill Street/Cooper Avenue mall
