Aspen Valley Medical Foundation names new director

Aspen Times Staff Report

Kristin Hoegh Marsh of Denver will become the new executive director of the Aspen Valley Medical Foundation, according to Judy Zanin, president of the foundation’s board of directors.

Marsh will bring 32 years of executive leadership experience in working with nonprofit organizations when she assumes her new post with the foundation later this month.

Presently, Marsh is the executive director of FACES, a direct service dedicated to preventing child abuse, neglect and family violence. From 1991 through 1997, she had her own consulting service which provided seminars and board and staff training for nonprofit organizations in fund-raising and organizational development. And as the first executive director of The Aspen Foundation, Marsh lived in Aspen from 1981 through 1988.

“We are happy to have Kris returning to the Roaring Fork Valley as director of the Medical Foundation,” said Zanin. “She not only brings a wealth of experience to the position, but is also familiar with our community. We expect she will be up and running in no time.”
