Aspen trunk show to benefit Helene’s House

ASPEN – Aspen native Christina Pfister has launched a new business, The Silver Queen Collection, which provides custom styling for homes and personal wardrobes.Her products will be showcased in a trunk show at the Hotel Jerome from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday. A portion of the proceeds from sales at the trunk show will benefit Helene’s House, a nonprofit bereavement center staffed by trained volunteer facilitators. Pfister serves as a board member and facilitator for Helene’s House, which offers a safe atmosphere in which children, teens, young adults and their families who are grieving a death can share their experiences.The Silver Queen Collection will feature products by world-renowned designers in the home, body and bath arena, including European bedding by Fino Lino, home accessories from Callisto and exotic bags made by Robyn Brooks. Rani Arabella’s cashmere for the body and home will be showcased along with linens and down by Nancy Koltes. Peacock Alley linens and bath will be featured, as will silk pillows from Pyar & Co., the Adri Collection of furs and home accessories and a collection of hand-loomed Turkish towels.For more information, call 970-319-6626.
