Aspen Today makes season debut today
The “Aspen Today” television show on Channel 16 will make its season debut Thanksgiving morning.
Now in its fourth season, the three-hour “Aspen Today” offers live, daily programming from 7 to 10 a.m., with rebroadcasts from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., seven days a week throughout the ski season.
Live reports include updates on new snow, on-mountain grooming, weather, entertainment options and special events. Telecasts are in-studio and from the top of Aspen Mountain, offering guests a first-peek at top-of-the-mountain conditions.
A new program, “Early Edition,” debuts Monday, Nov. 29, and will air live daily from 6:30 to 7 a.m. “Early Edition” will offer viewers news, weather, road conditions, business updates and ski reports.
In an exclusive with United Airlines, both “Aspen Today” and “Early Edition” will, for the first-time ever, receive and report changes to scheduled arrival and departure times – about every 15 minutes – from Aspen’s Sardy Field.
Returning in-studio and on-mountain hosts include Susan Ferrara, Diana Lane, Michael Monroney, Adam Rothberg, Cynthia St. John and Mark Thomas. New hosts include Gary Baines, Brad Evans, Erik Skarvan and Ellen Torrell.
The programs can also be viewed online at Aspen Skiing Co.’s Web site at http://www.skiaspen.com, from 6:30 to 10 a.m. seven days a week.
