Aspen Times delivering downvalley

Aspen Times Staff Report
Aspen, CO colorado

ASPEN – The Aspen Times has tweaked its downvalley distribution system to get more papers to readers in Carbondale and Glenwood Springs.

Starting this week, our drivers will drop 400 copies of The Aspen Times, Monday through Saturday, in Carbondale. Those papers will be spread across the following locations: Village Smithy, Main Street Spirits (alley rack), Carbondale Council on Arts and Humanities, City Market, Red Rock Diner and the RFTA bus stop at Main Street and Highway 133.

Additionally, we will drop a total of 375 newspapers at several locations in Glenwood Springs: the Post Independent office (inside), Safeway, City Market, the post office, Garfield County complex, 9th Street and Grand Avenue.

These changes are a response to complaints from numerous downvalley readers who could no longer find their newspaper in the familiar locations. We hope this helps solve the problem. Nonetheless, we urge people to visit the newspaper racks early, to ensure copies are still available.
