ASPEN – As part of its continuing Democracy Dialogues series, the Aspen Democracy Initiative will host a guest speaker Wednesday at BB’s Kitchen, 525 E. Cooper Ave.
Matthew Hamilton, director of sustainability for Aspen Skiing Co., will discuss Skico’s work in framing environmental policy and how related issues guide the company. The event, which begins at 6 p.m., is the third installment in the series.
Michael Kinsley, program manager for Collaborative Solutions and a senior consultant to the Rocky Mountain Institute, will moderate.
“Our first two events were well-attended, and we are excited to keep the momentum going with another great topic and speaker,” said Riley Tippet, co-founder of the initiative.
The event is free and open to the public. There is, however, a charge for food and drinks.
The Aspen Democracy Initiative is a nonpartisan organization whose stated mission is to empower young adults to effect positive change in their communities and throughout the nation by engaging in civic issues and the political process.
