Aspen School District lands accolades
The National Council for Home Safety and Security has named the Aspen School District as one of the top 10 in the state and among the best school districts in America.
The rankings included 9,577 eligible districts across the United States and used data collected in topics such as school funding, property rate, student performance and drop-out rate. The National Council for Home Safety and Security is a trade organization made up of security professionals that advocates for safe communities and safe homes with a strong commitment to community involvement.
“As a district we always appreciate recognition, especially when it acknowledges the results of the hard work put forth by our highly qualified staff and dedicated students,” said John Maloy, superintendent of the Aspen School District.
