Aspen restaurants open for Turkey Day
Thanksgiving in a ski town is celebrated a little bit differently. While Americans across the country are waking up early to get their birds in the oven, most Aspen locals and visitors are suiting up to go skiing and snowboarding.
Whether you get out for some Turkey Day uphilling, snow-shoeing, Nordic skiing or regular old downhill fun, there are plenty of ways to burn some calories today before indulging later.
Here’s a list of restaurants with Thanksgiving specials, courtesy of the Aspen Chamber Resort Association, in case you decide to stay on the mountain a bit longer and forego the cooking.
