Aspen receives Christmas snow

ASPEN – Christmas delivered 8 inches of fresh snow to Aspen Mountain and Snowmass, according to the Tuesday morning snow reports. Buttermilk and Aspen Highlands both picked up 5 inches.
Elsewhere around Colorado, Powderhorn in the far western part of the state boasted 14 inches, while Steamboat had 11 inches. Breckenridge and Loveland, like Aspen, were also reporting eight inches.
Sunlight Mountain Resort near Glenwood Springs reported 3 inches of new snow.

Aspen Police this week released a redacted report detailing the 500 hours of investigation, including interviews of 86 witness and assistance from the FBI, of an ex-altar boy’s accusations from prison in 2021 of sexual abuse by a priest who had served at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in the mid-2000s.
