Aspen ramps up bus service

ASPEN ” Aspen will ramp up its summer bus service ” including new, free service between Aspen and Snowmass Village ” on Sunday.

Paid parking in the downtown core goes back into effect on Saturdays beginning June 6. Parking remains free on Sundays and holidays.

Starting Sunday, the free buses serving the Castle/Maroon, Cemetery Lane, Hunter Creek and Mountain Valley routes resume their high-season schedules, operating from approximately 6:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily. The Burlingame/Highway 82 route will also begin its summer schedule on Sunday.



The Galena Street and Cross Town shuttles, as well as the Maroon Creek Road bus and Woody Creek shuttle, will return to service Sunday after an offseason hiatus.

The Maroon Bells bus starts up on Saturday, June 14.
