Aspen rallies for ski-accident victim
Dear Editor:
While enjoying a wonderful day skiing last week I had the misfortune to have a slight accident, and now I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the unknown young girl who found me in a unconscious state, took my skis off and stayed with me until my instructor and ski patrol came. Then sincere thanks to the ski patrollers for the gentle ride down Aspen Mountain to an awaiting ambulance where Deborah and the driver conveyed me to Aspen Valley Hospital. Luckily after being checked over I was released with instructions to take it easy for a few days.
Publicly I would like to acknowledge the Aspen Skiing Co., my fantastic ski instructors, the cheerful lift operators, the groomers who do a super job, all combining to make my stay here a great experience.
