ASPEN – The following Aspen Police activity occurred from March 16 to March 31. The arrests and citations do not reflect a disposition or indictment in the cases.

March 16 – Aspen Police officers responded to a report of a possible trespassing. Augustus Filiss, 34, of Woody Creek was arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail where he was charged with third-degree trespassing, harassment, and domestic violence.

March 17 – Officers arrested Jesse Brown, 30, of Aspen on three outstanding warrants from outside agencies. He was transported to Pitkin County Jail without incident.

March 17 – Police responded to a report of a shoplifting at Boogie’s. After investigation, Joseph Marino, 63, of Blackwood, N.J., was arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail where he was issued a municipal court summons for shoplifting prohibited.

March 18 – Officers arrested Matthew Gering, 21, of Aspen on an outstanding failure-to-appear warrant from Pitkin County. He was transported to Pitkin County Jail without incident.

March 18 – Police arrested William Doherty, 30, of Aspen in response to a disturbance that occurred on a RFTA bus on March 4. Doherty was transported to Pitkin County Jail where he was issued a muni-court summons for disorderly conduct and injury to public/private property.

March 18 – Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at the United Methodist Church. Daniel Caulder, 34, of Aspen, was arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail where he was issued a muni-court summons for injury to public/private property.

March 19 – Officers responded to a disturbance outside the Limelight Lodge. Andrew Garcia, 20, and Jesse Garcia 22, both of Silt, were arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail where they were charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. Andrew Garcia was additionally charged with underage possession of alcohol.

March 20 – Aspen Police officers responded to an accident just upvalley of the roundabout. Rebecca Everest, 23, of Basalt was arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail where she was charged with DUI and careless driving.

March 25 – Officers responded to a disturbance outside at Rubey Park. After investigation, Christopher Gay, 28, of Hyannis, Mass., was arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail where he was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

March 26 – Officers arrested Paul Jung, 20, of Aspen on an outstanding FTC warrant from Pitkin County. He was transported to Pitkin County Jail without incident.

March 26 – Officers arrested Dennis Yarbrough, 38, of Aspen on an outstanding FTC warrant from Pitkin County. Yarbrough was transported to Pitkin County Jail without incident.

March 29 – Police responded to a disturbance on a RFTA bus. John Rice, 41, of Basalt, was arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail where he was charged with trespassing.

March 31 – Aspen Police officers responded to a report of dangerous behavior on Main Street. Benjamin Peterson, 22, of Basalt, was arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail where he was issued a muni-court summons for interfering with an officer.
