ASPEN – The following Aspen police activity occurred from Dec. 4-13. The arrests and citations do not reflect an indictment or disposition in the cases.

Dec. 4, 1:46 a.m. – Aspen police officers witnessed a disturbance in front of Hunter Bar. Michael Palmer, 19, of Glenwood Springs was arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail, where he was charged with underage possession of alcohol.

Dec. 4, 6:45 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at Aspen Square Hotel. Sarah McKenzie, 40, of Glenwood Springs was arrested and charged with domestic violence and two counts of third-degree assault.

Dec. 4, 11:46 p.m. – Jose Munoz Lara, 34, of Aspen was arrested on an outstanding failure-to-appear warrant from Garfield County. He was jailed without incident.

Dec. 7, 1:20 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of employee theft at City Market. Jennifer Clarke, 21, of Aspen was arrested and transported to jail, where she was charged with theft ($500 to $1,000).

Dec. 9, 12:58 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of a possible domestic disturbance near McDonald’s. Skyler Lomahaftewa, 35, of Snowmass Village was arrested for violation of a protection order and transported to jail.

Dec. 9, 8:40 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a possible trespassing at Truscott. Mark Altman, 47, of Aspen was arrested and charged with violation of a protection order.

Dec. 11, 12:20 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of a disturbance on a RFTA bus. Mark Sturdevant, 47, of Basalt was arrested for violation of a protection order and transported to jail.

Dec. 11, 12:56 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at Rubey Park. Craig Williams, 23, and Joshua Garcia, 26, both of Snowmass Village, were arrested and transported to jail, where they were both charged with disorderly conduct. Garcia was also held on an outstanding failure to appear warrant.

Dec. 11, 1:38 a.m. – Officers stopped Jose Ascary Torres, 31, of Glenwood Springs for a traffic violation. He was arrested and transported to jail, where he was charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license, careless driving, failure to obey a traffic control device, and failure to present insurance upon request.

Dec. 11, 1:50 a.m. – Dana Vaughn, 28, of Snowmass Village was arrested and transported to Pitkin County Jail, where she was charged with DUI , DUI per se, failure to drive in a single lane, and failure to drive in designated lane.

Dec. 13, 1:30 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of theft of a coat from Bad Billy’s. Jared Jager, 27 and Karston Skaar, 23, both of Snowmass Village, were arrested and transported to jail, where they were charged with theft. Skaar also was charged with acting as an accessory to theft.
