Aspen man jailed after night out

ASPEN ” An Aspen man was advised Thursday in Pitkin County Court of two potential misdemeanor charges stemming from an alleged domestic dispute that occurred after a night out on the town.
Justin Dalenberg, 24, stands accused of third-degree assault and harassment. The counts carry a potential penalty of 30 months in jail, according to sentencing guidelines spelled out by Judge James Boyd.
Bond was set at $1,000. Dalenberg was ordered back to court at 1:30 p.m. March 10, at which time charges are likely to be filed.
Aspen police arrested Dalenberg at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, after they received a report of a fight between a man and a woman at a Teal Court residence. The fight allegedly happened after the duo returned home from having dinner and drinks.
