Aspen hosts Lift One session on Wednesday

Aspen Times Staff Report
Aspen, CO Colorado

ASPEN ” The city of Aspen will host an open house on Wednesday to present information on the Lift One Neighborhood Master Plan.

The gathering will take place at Aspen City Hall in City Council chambers, from noon to 1 p.m.

Those in attendance will be able to review the site plan for the area with those who created it. The City Council’s public hearing schedule for the project will also be available.

The Lift One Neighborhood Master Plan Citizen Task Force recently completed its work, creating a new development for the area and has forwarded the proposal to the council for consideration. The council has initially reviewed the group’s recommendation on how to develop the eight-acre site at the base of Aspen Mountain on the Lift One side; the plan includes commercial and residential space involving two hotels, retail shops, restaurants, affordable housing, a ski museum and public space.
