Aspen historic preservation work wrapping up

ASPEN ” The future of Aspen’s historic preservation program is in the hands of 22 citizens.

The Historic Preservation Task Force is progressing toward a final report. The group has been meeting since March 2008 and will be making recommendations to the Aspen City Council regarding historic preservation practices within the city. The group is expected to make recommendations in March or April.

Numerous committees are still under way, and there are group meetings scheduled throughout March. The public is welcome to attend any of them.
