Aspen Hall of Fame accepting nominations
The Aspen Hall of Fame board of directors is accepting nominations for the 2015 Aspen Hall of Fame. The deadline for nominations is Monday, Sept. 15. The Hall of Fame honors innovators who have made lasting impacts on the Aspen and Snowmass communities.
Nominees should include men and women whose leadership and contributions of time, energy and insight shaped the communities’ past as well as its present and future. Applications must include information on the individual’s career and organizational involvement in Aspen or Snowmass, their significant accomplishments and the impact they’ve had on the local resort communities.
Nomination forms are available on the organization’s website, http://www.aspenhalloffame.org. Completed nominations may be emailed to email@example.com, faxed to 970-279-5354 or mailed to Aspen Hall of Fame, PO Box 510, Aspen, CO 81611 by Sept. 15.
Inductees will be honored at the annual Aspen Hall of Fame Banquet on Jan 17 at the Hotel Jerome. The event features a cash bar, dinner and awards ceremony highlighted by an in-depth video profile of each inductee’s life. Invitations will be mailed in December.

Tenants at the city’s oldest deed-restricted housing complex, Centennial Apartments, faced rent hikes as high as 30% in January that sent city, county, and APCHA officials into closed-door meetings with the relatively new landlord, Birge & Held.
