Aspen group earns thanks

Dear Editor:Several weeks ago an energetic group of students from Aspen High and their advisor, Ms. Cerena Thomsen, came to Pearlington, Miss., and helped many people. Lyn and I would personally like to thank: Cerena Thomsen, Kyla Sobieralski, Skyler McClain, Sara Schults, Claire Haughey, Ella Stark, Jaeda Sichel, Leanna Bonds, Ame Wang, Austin Owen and Caroline Daniels. These individuals took a very active role in helping clean up and house, but more importantly help us to start to reorganize our dog and cat foster home. All companion animals in our rescue group are fostered in private homes, and while most places are still not livable, they took a very active interest in our effort and even helped us find a mom dog and her eight newborns. They are a new breed of “puppy wranglers!”We send our sincere gratitude to both Aspen High School and their parents for raising such conscious-minded individuals. We also want to thank Tom Dalessandri, Scott Condon, your reporter, and Paul Conrad, who had the pleasure of walking through the abandoned house to find mom and her pups.Sam and Lyn BaileyPearlington, Miss.
