Aspen gallery to hold preview of Monothon benefit event

ASPEN – The Harvey/Meadows Gallery in Aspen will hold a preview exhibition of the Anderson Ranch Arts Center’s Monothon event at 5 p.m. Thursday. The preview exhibition will feature more than 20 prints to be included in Monothon, a benefit for Anderson Ranch.

The Monothon event, featuring an auction of prints made at Anderson Ranch, as well as specialty cocktails and more, is set for March 19 at Anderson Ranch in Snowmass Village.

The preview exhibition will feature works by Basalt artist Dick Carter as well as monoprints by Holly Roberts, Tyler Beard, Jean Gumpper and more. The evening also will include a talk between gallery owners Sam Harvey and Alleghany Meadows and Anderson Ranch’s printmaking staff.

Thursday’s event is free and open to the public. The Harvey/Meadows Gallery is at 517 E. Hopkins Ave.
