Aspen Fire to host 9/11 remembrance Sunday

The Aspen Fire Protection District will be holding its Annual Day of Remembrance in honor of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
The public is invited to join the Aspen Fire Honor Guard and Aspen Fire Department at the Headquarters Station, 420 E. Hopkins Ave., at noon Sunday, the 15th anniversary of the attacks. Special guest speakers include the Rev. John Hilton of St. Mary’s Church, Rabi David Segal of Aspen Jewish Congregation and Andrea Booher, FEMA Ground Zero photojournalist.
