Aspen Fire hosts 9/11 remembrance

Staff report
Members of the Aspen Volunteer Fire Department gathered last year for a ceremony dedicated to lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001. The 343 flags represent each firefighter who lost his or her life that day and included their pictures. The department is hosting another remembrance ceremony at noon on Sunday, the 15th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
