Aspen ditch tour set

ASPEN – From the Roaring Fork River east of town to Aspen’s famous dancing fountain, Aspen’s “invisible ditch system” helps keep the core green and water flowing.

The Roaring Fork Conservancy will host a free tour of the network of ditches, pipes and drains on Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The bicycle tour will be led by staff from the city Water Department and the conservancy. Bikes and helmets are required. Meet at Glory Hole Park to start the tour.
