ASPEN – The following description of arrests and citations that the Aspen Police Department issued from July 29 through Aug. 11 does not reflect a disposition or indictment in the cases:
July 29, 9:55 a.m. – Officers arrested Matthew Franzen, 50, of Aspen on a failure-to-appear warrant from an outside agency.
July 29, 10:19 p.m. – Kavanagh McGeough, 20, of Fall City, Wash., was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and underage (18-20) possession of alcohol.
July 30, 2:45 a.m. – Officers issued Erica Robbie, 18, of Aspen a county court summons for underage (18-20) consumption of alcohol.
July 31, 1:18 a.m. – Heather Nystrom, 31, of Carbondale was arrested and charged with DUI and DUI per se.
Aug. 1, 1:15 a.m. – After a brief foot chase, officers nabbed Bryan Barker, 31, of Carbondale for a traffic violation. Barker was arrested and was charged with DUI, eluding, driving while license suspended, and traffic-control device violation (stop sign).

Aug. 5, 2:07 a.m. – Alex Velasquez, 36, of parts unknown was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Pitkin County.
Aug. 6, 2:05 a.m. – Dylan Martin, 20, of Carbondale was arrested and charged with underage (18-20) possession of alcohol at the Popcorn Wagon.
Aug. 6, 2:10 a.m. – Officers issued Thomas Pruett, 38, of Crested Butte a municipal court summons for urinating in public at Wagner Park.
Aug. 6, 7 p.m. – Officers contacted Edward Campbell, 45, of Helena, Mont., after a report of suspicious behavior in the alley behind Carl’s Pharmacy. Campbell was arrested and charged with urinating in public, disorderly conduct (profane language), soliciting, and open container of alcohol prohibited.
Aug. 6, 10:33 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated subject refusing to leave Escobar’s. Arthur Myatt, 47, of Glenwood Springs was arrested and issued a municipal court summons for trespassing prohibited.
Aug. 6, 10:57 p.m. – Police responded to a report of an unconscious man on the Hyman Avenue mall. Martin Navarrete, 38, of Aspen was arrested was issued a municipal court summons for sleeping in certain places prohibited.
Aug. 6, 11:41 p.m. – Fernando Gallardo-Saenz, 22, of Glenwood Springs was arrested on violation of a protection order.
Aug. 7, 1 a.m. – Dean Unglert, 20, of Aspen was arrested charged with underage (18-20) possession of alcohol and possession of fake ID.
Aug. 8, 2:57 a.m. – Aaron Cobb, 31, of Glenwood Springs was charged with DUI, DUI per se, proof of insurance required, driving when license suspended, traffic-control signal violation (red light), and violation of a protection order.
Aug. 8, 10:58 p.m. – Officers arrested Edward Munson, 40, of Carbondale on an outstanding warrant from an outside agency.
Aug. 9, 11:05 p.m. – Aspen Police officers responded to a report of a disturbance near Ute City Cycles. James Pickett, 25, of Thornton, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief.
Aug. 11, 2:53 a.m. – Hunter Baar, 24, of Aspen was arrested and charged with DUI, DUI per se, and traffic signal violation.
