Aspen cop blotter: Trespassing and possession

ASPEN ” Aspen police contacted Wesley Paul Bright about panhandling in Rubey Park. Bright, 37, was subsequently arrested and taken to the Pitkin County jail. He was booked for trespassing and urinating in public.

ASPEN ” Aspen police stopped a vehicle driven by Jonathan Marenco, 27, along Main Street. He was later arrested and taken to the Pitkin County jail.

Marenco was booked for driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving a vehicle without a valid driver’s license and making an improper U-turn.



ASPEN ” A 19-year-old man was arrested after the vehicle he was driving was pulled over by Aspen police at Hyman Avenue and Original Street.

Michael Sanders was taken to the Pitkin County jail and booked for driving a vehicle with excessive alcohol content, illegal possession or consumption of alcohol by an underage person and careless driving.




ASPEN ” A report of a disturbance on Durant Avenue resulted in the arrest of 29-year-old man by Aspen police. Christian Melendez was taken to the Pitkin County jail, where he was booked for assault and possession of drug paraphernalia.

ASPEN ” Aspen police responded to a report of a noise complaint at Marolt Place, which led to the arrest of Adenilson Cesar Nascimento, 28. He was taken to the Pitkin County jail and booked for disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace.
