Aspen Community Church to hold Holiday Shopping Bazaar on Nov. 1

The public is invited to a Holiday Shopping Bazaar from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Aspen Community Church featuring Kenyan jewelry, artisan crafts and fabrics, as well as fair-trade coffees, teas and chocolates.

The benefit, presented in collaboration with PEAK (Partnering in Education and Aid for Kenya) will support ongoing clean-water projects, school libraries and computers, feeding programs for street kids, and more.

The evening is open to the public with no admission charge. Festivities include hors d’oeuvres and beverages, music, shopping, and a short presentation about the various projects, as well as opportunities for participation in future team trips.
