Aspen Chamber Resort Association moves candidate forum to The Gant
The Aspen Chamber Resort Association has relocated next month’s municipal election candidate forum from the Limelight Hotel to The Gant.
ACRA made the announcement Thursday. The change was made in order to accommodate mayoral candidate Lee Mulcahy, who is banned from Aspen Skiing Co. properties including the Limelight. The Gant is located at 610 S. Westend St. in Aspen
The forum is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. April 19. Council candidates square off from 4 to 5:30 p.m.; the mayoral candidates go from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m.
Aspen Public Radio’s Carolyn Sackariason will moderate the forum. Grassroots TV will tape it for future broadcasts.
