Aspen Chamber Resort Association announces 2025 Board of Directors election results

The Aspen Chamber Resort Association on Wednesday announced the results of its 2025 Board of Directors election, ushering in a mix of new leadership and continuity among its incumbent members. 

Peter Waanders, president and CEO of Anderson Ranch Arts Center, joins the board as the nonprofit representative. Waanders succeeds Cristal Logan, who transitions to chair emeritus after a successful tenure as the 2024 board chair. Logan’s leadership has been characterized by her dedication to collaboration and advancing ACRA’s mission.

Donnie Lee, general manager of The Gant, will serve as ACRA chair for 2025. Lee’s extensive experience in Aspen’s hospitality industry and his commitment to the community position him to lead the organization as it continues its work on the Aspen Destination Management Plan, which emphasizes sustainable tourism and economic vibrancy.

Debbie Braun, ACRA’s president and CEO, welcomed the new additions while recognizing the stability brought by re-elected members. 

“We are pleased to welcome Peter Waanders to our board, recognizing his dedication to arts and community engagement,” Braun said in a news release. “As we acknowledge Peter’s fresh insights, we also appreciate the continuity provided by our incumbent members, who were all re-elected unopposed.”
