Saturday Market is back
The Aspen Saturday Market returns to town this weeken.
Colorado vendors of produce, meats, arts and other items will be on hand at the corners of Galena Street and Hopkins Avenue, and Hyman Avenue and Galena Street, and along Hunter Street. Live music will be offered, as well.
The market runs every Saturday through Oct. 12. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. After Labor Day, it will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
City releases lodging report
The city of Aspen on Thursday released a report on lodging demand and lodging economics titled, “Aspen’s Lodging Sector: Lodging Demand & Lodging Economics.”
The report compiles background information on the needs and opportunities in Aspen’s lodging sector.
City staff members will present the findings to the City Council at a work session scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday in the City Council Chambers.
