Bike-race meetings set

The city of Aspen will hold neighborhood meetings to discuss the impacts of the USA Pro Challenge bicycle race, portions of which will take place in Aspen and Snowmass Village on Aug. 19 and 20.

All meetings will take place in the City Hall Council Chambers at 130 S. Galena St.

The meeting dates are as follows:

• June 20, 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• July 11, 3 p.m.

• July 22, 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• Aug. 6, 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Aspen82 to offer rooftop broadcasts

Television network Aspen82 will launch its live morning show at 8:30 a.m. today from the rooftop of Dancing Bear.

In celebration of the Food & Wine Classic at Aspen, the program “Harvest Aspen with Susie Jimenez” will follow. Jimenez was a runner-up in the show “Food Network Star.”

Aspen82 also plans to feature chefs Jose Andres, Bobby Flay, Tom Colicchio, Marcus Samuelsson and others during its Food & Wine programming.

Kickoff luncheon today

Aspen Chamber Resort Association will preview this weekend’s Food & Wine Classic in Aspen today at the Hotel Jerome. Registration is at 11:30 a.m., with the luncheon set for noon.

Cost is $45 for chamber members and $80 for nonmembers.
