Aspen, Basalt seniors celebrate commencement

Nearly 200 seniors graduated Saturday from Aspen and Basalt high schools.
Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper delivered the commencement address for Aspen High School’s ceremony at the Benedict Music Tent, where Aspen graduated 128 seniors.
Basalt’s commencement began at 4 p.m. at Basalt High School, where Bret Pfost, a former Disney executive who recently became assistant general manager of the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and nearby Iron Mountain Hot Springs, gave the commencement address. Basalt graduated 66 seniors.
