Aspen airport offers free wireless
December 4, 2007
ASPEN ” For local airline passengers who would like to browse the Internet while waiting for their plane, the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport is now providing free Wi-Fi, or wireless Internet service, in the terminal building.
The free service replaces the fee-based service that has been available for the past two years, under which users had to pay $9.95 per say for access.
The service will be paid from the airport’s budget, and will be supported by AmeriSpot, which reportedly operates public Wi-Fi access in other commercial locations in the Roaring Fork Valley.
