Aspen airport hosts pilots meeting

ASPEN – The Aspen-Pitkin County Airport will hold a meeting for locally based pilots and other pilots who frequent the airport on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon. It will take place at the Airport Operations Center, 1001 Owl Creek Road.

Pilots are welcome to come hear an update on goings-on at the airport, including a master plan effort that is now under way, as well as the planned extension of the runway. It’s also an opportunity for pilots to bring up issues of concern for them.
