Aspen airport bailout

Dear Editor:

I am visiting this wonderful valley for the ski season and following with lack of understanding the recent articles and comments about financing with $4 million stimulus/bailout money private jet parking spots at Aspen Airport.

It’s not up to me to say that’s right or wrong, but suggest putting up a step in between, before the discussion about this matter eventually gets out of hand. It should not be that difficult to address those few private jet parking spot owners and ask them whether they would like to see their parking spots refurbished with taxpayers’ money or whether they would prefer having things financed on their own.

I assume that once an answer by majority could be accomplished and gets published it would enlighten what kind of American spirit the valley economy is following.
