As the cold wind blows

Dear Editor:

The birds fly south.

The bears are ready to sleep.

The leaves will fall.

We will play.

When the last wind blows spring is here.

As the rain falls…

Flowers are blooming.

Skies are blue.

Animals are born.

Tears fall from the sky.

As the last rain drop falls summer is here.

As the light shines…

We will swim.

The streams are fast.

Animals are hunting.

Bugs are biting.

As the last light shines fall is here.

As the leaves turn color.

Farmers are farming.

Animals are getting ready for winter.

Streams are getting colder.

Kids are ready for Halloween.

As the last leave turns color winter is here.

As the cold wind blows …
