Arthur Dennis Egan passed away Monday, April 21, 2008, at Wesley Gardens Nursing Home in Rochester, N.Y., at the age of 61.Born February 24, 1947, in Ithaca, N.Y., Denny was a son of Arthur D. and Theresa (Tobey) Egan. Denny was a well-loved member of the Carbondale community and was appreciated for his generous and uplifting nature. Typical of his character, Denny participated in many Carbondale Mountain Fairs, performing, helping as an electrician or just volunteering for the night watch. Denny was an extraordinary musician, playing with The Silver Bullets with Howard Berkman, The FM Band, Kool Ray & the Polaroids and Sneaker, to name just a few.His photographs, his talents and his spirit will be cherished by those who remembered him.A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Timothy Bush, was held Saturday, May 3, at Lakeview Community Church, 30 Long Pond Road, Greece, N.Y.
