Around Aspen: St. Pat’s at St. Mary’s
Aspen Times Weekly

ALL |
A tradition in Aspen since the 1880s is the St. Patrick’s Day Dinner at St. Mary Catholic Church. What a great turnout this year ” people were lined up to the end of the block to get in! Many townspeople volunteer as the cooks, dishwashers, waiters and waitresses, bartenders … and everyone, whether eating dinner or waiting on them, visit and have such a wonderful time.
Once again, there are so many great photos of townspeople that I will hold the copy until next week. Then I’ll use few photos and catch up on the news.
Undercurrent … Last Monday all the cars and trucks in Aspen were covered with mud from the air brought down by the evening’s rain and snow. Wonder if we are breathing that amount of dirt all the time!
