Every fall the Early Childhood Center holds a “Welcome Back to School Potluck” for new and old families at the school in Woody Creek so families can get to know each other. Staff at the school reports that they still have openings for children in their Pre-K program. If interested call Heidi Burtscher at (970) 306-2155.
Another great get-together this fall was a “Remembering Bil Dunaway” party given by the staff of The Aspen Times in honor of the late editor-publisher Bil Dunaway. Many former members of the staff were there and they told their favorite stories about “Runaway Dunaway.”
