It never ceases to amaze me that Aspen has three large, slick magazines ” Aspen Magazine, Sojourner Magazine and Peak Magazine. Since I already covered the holiday parties of Aspen Mag and Sojourner, this week I’ll report on Peak’s party, which was held at the Crystal Palace amid all the beautiful stained glass and glittering chandeliers.

Since the papers are small this time of year, I will save most of the column for next week.

Undercurrent … This past Saturday morning there were two red foxes in our backyard. They were so beautiful against the white snow.
