MEHMolly Ireland and Paul Taddune spent the evening washing dishes in the church kitchen.

So many local faces at the St. Patrick’s Day dinner at St. Mary Catholic Church that I just had to run some more.

Giving a talk one recent Sunday morning at the Aspen Community Methodist Church was Aspen rancher and Aspen Times columnist Tony Vagneur. He reminisced about many of the occasions he and his family attended at the church through the years – there were many Sunday morning church services, Christmas pageants, church suppers, baptisms, Sunday School classes, weddings and funerals.

Carla “Beachcomber” and Jess Lutz have homes in Costa Rica, Hawaii, Long Beach, Calif., and Aspen, and every March they give an annual luncheon at Montagna at The Little Nell. The rest of the year they travel around the world between their homes.

Undercurrent…The snowdrops are blooming in the yard…and as each tulip and daffodil breaks through the ground…I greet them with joy.
