So many people come from around the country to take classes at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center, and so many locals attend the annual art auction and picnic … that I am running another column of the event held in August.On Nov. 9, 2010, Carolyne Hyde celebrated her 50th birthday and Mayor John Hickenlooper of Denver proclaimed the day as “Carolyne Hyde Day,” noting that Carolyne has played an important role in the Denver community for many years through her Carolyne Hyde & Associates Public Relations firm and her strong support of the Denver business community. Carolyne has also served as a trustee for several Colorado organizations including Denver Botanic Gardens, the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts and Historic Denver. Carolyne grew up in Aspen and graduated from Aspen High School. Her mother, Mary Ann Hyde, recently moved to Tennessee after residing in Aspen for 40 years.Undercurrent … Winter settled into Aspen this week.
