Arn the best choice
Dear Editor:I would like to publicly express my support for Arn Menconi in the upcoming election. My husband Innes and I will vote for Arn for county commissioner because we know he is working hard to enable people like us to enjoy the quality of life we have come to expect in our valley. As a lifelong resident of Eagle County, I have seen uncontrolled growth take its toll on our environment and infrastructure. I know Arn is fighting to keep open space and smart growth on the front burner. Arn has also played an instrumental role in making sure families have parks and bike paths so they can recreate safely. As a founding member of the Eagle Valley Youth Coalition, he knows how important it is for us to enable local children to live out their hopes and dreams, no matter what the cost. With the upcoming birth of his first child, I believe Arn’s dedication to quality family life in Eagle County will be even greater. His stake in the future of our county will become even more personal.I know when I see Arn Menconi at a local snowshoe or mountain bike race, he is there because in his free time he appreciates this valley for the same reasons I do. However, I also know Arn uses these race venues as a way to find out what the public needs and wants. At a post-race party, he is just as likely to be talking to other racers about politics as he is to be discussing race results.I am proud to back Arn Menconi for county commissioner. Check out http://www.arnmenconi.com for more information about Arn and what he represents. If you care about the environment here in Eagle County and protecting your family’s quality of life, Arn is the best choice on the ballot this fall.Lisa IsomVail
