Arapahoe Basin opening for the season

KEYSTONE, Colo. – Arapahoe Basin Ski Area is getting its earliest start on the season ever.

The resort opens Friday with one run and an 18-inch base. Some of the features in its terrain park also will be open.

Nearby Loveland Ski Area was believed to be the first resort to open for the season in the U.S. when it opened Wednesday.
