Appreciate everyday miracles

Dear Editor:I am always amazed and delighted when I consider all the miraculous events I become aware of every day of my life. Here are some: We have an abundance of water on this earth to keep us clean and sustain our bodies, as well as every other living thing. The sound and motion of water can soothe us or help us recreate, whether it is in the form of liquid or frozen as snow. The fact that each snowflake is unique in design is absolutely enthralling to me.Air is another element that is awesome to me in so many ways, including that there is a procedure in place to give a new baby its first breath before it is born.Every little seed has nourishment and water within its protective cover until the time is right to come forth. The blueness of the sky and the whiteness of clouds, as well, and the clear sparkle of water are just perfect. I’m so thankful I didn’t have to design any of these things, just appreciate them!Eloise Ilgen Carbondale
